A must try fusion recipe samosaquedilla:

Samosa has been my favourite snack ever since I was a kid.  In fact after school me & my sister used to visit this very small mithai shop where they served delicious samosa & chutney.  It was our favorite place. We grew up but the love for samosa never changed.  Few years back I came across a fusion recipe & honestly I became a fan of it. Now it's my favorite recipe.  Also when the festival like makarsakranti is just round the corner & there will be many guest coming to your house. I thought why not share this snack recipe with everyone. I'm sure you will love it.  



1/1-2 cups boiled  diced potatoes
1/2 cup thawed frozen peas
1/4 cup diced green chillies
2 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp curry powder or paste
2 tsp ground coriander 
1/2 tsp ground 
1/2 tsp chilli powder 
1/2 tsp black pepper powder 
Salt to taste
4 large flour tortillas 
Any of your favorite chutney


1. Mash the potatoes in a saucepan. Add the peas,  green chilli, raisins, curry powder, soy sauce, ground coriander, ground cumin, red chilli powder,  salt & pepper.  

2. Mix well & heat until hot,  stirring as needed. Cook for 4 to 5 mins. 
3. Cut the tortillas into quarters.  Spoon about 2 tbsp of filling in the center of each tortilla piece.  Fold one side over the filling & press lightly to flatten. Set aside. Repeat the same. 
4. Cook in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.  Cook until lightly browned and heated through,  turning once,  6 to 8 mins total.  

Serve hot with chutney.
